On December 26, a new maximum was broken in the periodic counts of individuals that we do every week in each breeding cave. There were no fewer than 149 individuals together on the beach inside the Cave 3. Adding the samples counted in the other two caves, we reached 158. These counts give us an index of density of individuals present in the colony during their rest at low tide inside the caves.

All data indicate that the population of Cabo Blanco continues to grow, as shown by its latest estimate of population based on the recaptures of identified individuals, with a total of 360 individuals.
