AIZA, the Iberian Association of Zoos and Aquariums, has granted us this year, in the category of “Projects of Conservation and Investigation in situ 2018″ its annual prize. It is very good news for all of us, because they have rewarded our work in Madeira, which we have been updating.

This is not the first time that they have rewarded us, as in 2010 they recognized our work with the Monk Seal Conservation Program in Mauritania. We feel very flattered, and we appreciate these acknowledgments that encourage us to move forward with enthusiasm and determination.
